15€ parking credit and 15€ free shopping with the "Pcard+ Brussels

AN OFFER PROPOSED JOINTLY BY THE CITY OF BRUSSELS AND INTERPARKING

The City of Brussels and Interparking are launching a joint action to support the shops in the City of Brussels. Launched in June 2020, the multimodal parking card "Pcard+ Brussels" offers many advantages in the 23 Interparking car parks of the capital. At the beginning of the summer, cardholders will receive €15 of parking credit, as well as €15 in the form of a gift voucher to be spent in participating Brussels businesses when they receive their card. Current cardholders also benefit from this action. 


Pcard+ Brussels: contactless access and payment 

In this month of June, an air of newfound freedom is wafting across our country and Brussels in particular. Little by little, the decontrol measures allow a wider opening of the shops and the horeca. It is in this context that Interparking, in partnership with the City of Brussels, via the ASBL "Entreprendre", is offering a nice gift: an additional 15 euro credit on the "Pcard+ Brussels" as well as a 15 euro voucher to be used in the shops participating in the BXL-Gift voucher action.        

This is the opportunity to enjoy some great shopping and walking in the city, with the certainty of finding a parking space close by at a reduced cost. The "Pcard+ Brussels" (brussels.pcard.be), distributed free of charge on request by Interparking to anyone whose postal code is in the Brussels Region, is a card with a chip and a magnetic strip that is presented at the entrance and exit of parking lots.      

Through this partnership with the "Pcard+ Brussels", the City of Brussels is working to support Brussels businesses by promoting accessibility by all modes of transport and by offering 15 euros of purchase in the stores participating in the BXL-Giftcard action. This scheme strengthens the attractiveness of the shopping districts by offering a competitive advantage over other destinations. I invite the people of Brussels to come and discover our quality shops and enjoy a unique experience," says Fabian Maingain, alderman for Economic Affairs of the City of Brussels. 

With this card, the user automatically benefits from the best rates in the participating parking lots and does not have to go through the cash desks. The card also entitles the user to the first 30 minutes free of charge in the P1, P2 and P3 parking lots of Brussels Airport.

From now on, in the majority of parking lots in Belgium, it is no longer necessary to present your card or take a ticket at the entrance or exit: you enter and exit without any contact. The duration of your parking is immediately recorded on your account thanks to your Pcard+ ID linked to your license plate.

This solution offers a triple advantage: it allows you to make a "real" contactless payment, saves you precious time while allowing you to make serious savings.
